Jill is our brand new Chair of Governors. She is a co-opted Governor and is on both of our committees. "I have been involved in education all my working life from my early years of teaching English and PE in secondary schools in Hertfordshire to becoming a Deputy Head and then Headteacher in West Sussex. During my teaching career in the secondary phase, I enjoyed all aspects of school |

"I became a Governor at Aldingbourne 5 Years ago, and I am so pleased to be able to support the school in this way. I began my teaching career at Aldingbourne in 2003 and the school will always have a very special place in my heart. I feel very passionately about its ethos and strongly believe that the experiences the children are given at the school are of the highest quality and have a hugely positive impact on their learning journey though the school and beyond and am very proud to be a part of this." Likes: Being outside, spending time with my lovely family, cooking and wine. Dislikes: Rudeness, being late, mushrooms - they feel like slugs... |

Sue is a Co-opted Governor. She is a member of our Finance & Premises Committee. She is the Reception Class teacher at our school and one of our Assistant Heads. "I enjoy serving on the Governing Body as I love being able to support the school. As a teacher of the reception class and a parent, I feel I can bring a breadth of experience to the meetings which, I hope, is helpful." Likes: Spending quality time with family, sunshine holidays, a good book and a glass of prosecco! Dislikes: Grumpy people, traffic jams and mushrooms |

Adam is a Parent Governor and a brand new member of our Finance & Premises Committee. "Having had children at Aldingbourne school, I can see the positive impact they have had on them, so when the opportunity to help arose I was more than happy to step into a role where my experience in construction could help, Also after 15yrs I have recently stepped down from Scouting and that background has also given me a unique perspective of a young persons' development which I feel will be of great help in this new role as a Governor." Likes: Family camping trips Dislikes: Workjing in the hot sun (I would rather be camping!) |

Natasha is a Staff Governor. She is a member of our Curriculum committee. She is one of our Assistant Heads and also our Year 4 teacher. "I want to continue to support the school in as many ways as possible. My role as a teacher and chair of the PTA allows me to bring a variety of perspectives to governor meetings." Likes: Holidays abroad, dinner with friends, American TV series. Dislikes: Grumpy people, bad driving, bad manners. |
